This policy explains which personal data we collect through the Escape on Lake website, why we collect it and how we handle it.

What data we collect

You provide the data yourself, exclusively through the dinner reservation form:

• full name
• email address
• phone number
• date, time and number of guests for the reservation
• any note you enter yourself (e.g. allergies)

The website does not use tracking cookies or advertising tools. We do not collect data about your behaviour on the website.

Why we collect it

We use the data exclusively to process your reservation: to contact you with a confirmation, prepare the dinner according to your notes and keep an internal record of reservations. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Where the data is stored

The data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, on servers within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We use the Resend service to send email confirmations, and the website is served by Cloudflare. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Reservation data is kept for as long as needed for record keeping, and no longer than two years from the reservation date, after which it is deleted. You can request deletion earlier at any time.

Who has access

Only the property owner and the person maintaining the website have access to the data. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

• request access to the data we hold about you
• request correction of inaccurate data
• request deletion of your data
• object to the processing
• lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr)
